Burnett leads MRM to victory lane at Richmond

MRM drivers Steven Burnett (5) and Justin Kern (2) took to Richmond International Raceway last Monday in the Nastrack Xfinity Series. Burnett would start 2nd and Kern 8th. As the green flag waved, Caution after caution would be the story of the night. Burnett would lead 34 of the 90 laps and come away with the victory. Kern would have one of the best races this year running up in 2nd position, but a late restart would hang him on the outside. Kern would fight with everything in him to come home with a 7th place finish. Burnett can now breathe easy as this win puts him as the 8th driver thus far to add his name to the 2016 Xfinity Chase grid. Kern sits 14th in points, but with Talladega next week, MRM is working hard this week to get both drivers in the Chase. Kern sits 14th, just two spots out of the chase.
